Leena Abu Mukh Zoabi

Since 2016, Leena has been serving as Head for International Cooperation at the Skolkovo Foundation, the biggest innovation and startups hub of Russia, leading the cooperation activities of the Skolkovo Foundation and its ecosystem participants with partners in the MEA region and Italy. Leena has gained vast experience and deep knowledge in working with governments and ministries and governmental agencies’ professional leaders; senior executives of big corporates; institutional and private global and local investors; entrepreneurs and innovation ecosystems in Russia and abroad. In addition, Leena has a proved experience in developing and executing open innovations initiatives of Skolkovo International partners and connects them with the startups aside with drawing road maps and tech initiatives for cooperation with international development entities. Besides, Leena helped dozens of startups grow and expand in international markets and find relevant partners. Since 2019, Leena is an audit Board Member at Hasoub, Israel. Before moving to Moscow, Leena, was running her own law firm specializing in civil and commercial law. Between 2010-2013 she was the Director of Health Rights Center at the Galilee Society for Research and Health Services, in Israel. Between 2008-2009 she coordinated the Working Group for Equality in Personal Status Issues. Between 2006-2008, Leena was a legal researcher at The European University Institute, Florence, Italy. Between 2002-2005, Leena was a staff attorney at –Hamoked, Center for the Defense of the Individual, in Jerusalem. Leena has graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with two degrees: LL.B and LL.M from the Faculty of Law. Besides, she has received the Diploma “Directors in Public Companies” from Bar Ilan University, as well as a Diploma “The Socratic Method: Reading and Writing Cases” from Skolkovo School of Management. Mrs. Abu Mukh Zoabi speaks: Arabic, Hebrew, English, Russian and Italian.
